Introduction of Xianwen Ren's lab

The Ren Lab develops computational algorithms for mining biological and biomedical information from omics data. We are currently focused on the development of single-cell and spatial omics technologies and their application to immunology. The core computational challenges we are addressing involve how to bridge genotype and phenotype with omics data. Our group includes staffs, students and postdocs with backgrounds in bioinformatics, mathematics, statistics, physics, chemisitry, biology and computer science. The goal of our reseach is to make penetrating biological discoveries with algorithmic innovations.
